Business Meeting tonight. The huge success of this year's Pasta Dinner has allowed some increases to line items in our budget. President Bob reviewed proposed changes that were approved by the membership. BJ Cunningham happened to visit Gigi's Playhouse (Down Syndrome Achievement Center) in Village Gate. She was quite impressed by the tour that she received and invited others to stop by for an Open House on January 23rd. There is a Red Carpet Affair Gala for those interested in sponsorships or tickets. There are a couple of prospective members that will hopefully be joining soon! Next week's meeting is at B Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House (1120 S Goodman St, Rochester). Please meet there on Wednesday January 22, 2020, 5-6pm until cleaned up. Parking is in lot C at the top of the hill. (Please avoid handicapped spaces). President Bob sent an email to all members with detailed info from Kim Miranda who is leading this event. Our Draw Down this year will be April 23rd at Ridgemont Country Club. Kudos to Dave Shaheen and Lynn Wozniak for helping our adult Boy Scout troop at the Special Olympics event last weekend! Our application for the District Simplified Grant is April 1st. Please see Terri Bastuk or President Bob with ideas for worthwhile projects. |
