Meeting Notes
Meeting Venue:  We have found a new meeting HOME at the Hampton Inn (1323 East Ridge Road) catered by Pasta Villa!!

Haccamo Playhouse:  President Lynn says we still need materials to make the house a "playhouse" so please bring in kitchen utensils, plates, etc. (all need to be washable and not dangerous for little people!).  Ray Holla has some of this material so we need a listing of what is still needed.

Installation Dinner:  Tuesday, June 28th, 5-8:30PM at Sweet Briar Lodge (2888 Ridgeway Ave.)  Please RSVP to President-Elect Kim Miranda using this INVITATION FORM by June 15th.

Camp Haccamo Car Show Held June 4th at Greece Ridge Mall.  Tom Kosanke reports that he saw good coverage on social media.

Membership:  President Lynn sent out an email survey to members to ascertain their membership intentions for next Rotary year starting July 1.  Please respond to her survey ASAP!

Next week, June 15th is a Business meeting and we will go over Bylaws and a proposed Budget for next year.  In addition, committee reports will be made.  Membership committee will review new Cluc Brochure, Elevator Speech, New Member Orientation Passport,  Mentor Program, and Membership Information Packet.

Jen Gugino is selling tickets to the Angels of Mercy 2nd Annual Chicken BBQ.

Quote of the Week by Steven Wright:  "How do you tell when you're out of invisible ink??"
Program Notes
Andrea Calloway is the Director of Sunset House, a 2 bed hospice at 3746 St. Paul Blvd.  Sunset House offers an alternative living arrangement for two persons who are in the final stages of a terminal illness and cannot be cared for in their own home. It is a nonprofit organization that relies on volunteerism, fundraising, and memorial contributions for support.  Before opening in 1990, the configuration of the house was fully renovated to become the 2-resident bed home that it is today. On the first floor are 2 spacious and very warm bedrooms. There is a full bathroom between the rooms for the residents use. The kitchen and sitting room are also located on the first floor.  The house provides support for residents and their families:  food, bath, comfort on a 24/7 basis.  There are around 50 volunteers that help out but more are always needed.  10-15 paid staff are currently working - this number increased due to covid and lack of volunteers.  Most funding comes from private donations and several fundraisers:  5K Race, Regatta, an Illuminator event, and a Quilt and Art Auction.   They are looking for government grant money.  Current needs are for a sign and a "lift" to turn patients every few hours.
Contributions/Fines
Multiple contributions for:  the passing of Lorraine Holla and Patricia Ottmar, and tonight's presentation on the Sunset House.  Dan Dwyer's granddaughter graduated from Cornell University but had to cancel her party due to covid.
