Dick Butler reported on the New Members Open House held last Monday. Jeff Garcia attended Lou DiPrima helped out. Another will be scheduled in 2 about months. So far it has been very successful thanks to Dick and Linda Butler. BJ Cunningham read a note from the Dictionary Project thanking us for participating in this program each year. Overall, we have provided over 5,500 dictionaries to Irondequoit 3rd graders. The national group distributed over 1.6 million dictionaries this year and almost 30 million over the years. Wednesday February 14th is Valentines and our club will NOT MEET THAT EVENING, NOR WILL THERE BE A BOARD MEETING. We will resume our regular programming at Gigis on Wednesday the 21 st at which time we will have our board starting at 5pm with our weekly meeting at 6:15. There will be a ribbon cutting for the Ballpark scoreboards we donated on April 28th. This will start with a parade at 8:45 at the Town Hall. |
