Meeting Notes
Business Meeting tonight.

We will induct new member Chris Sekula at the March 6th meeting.

Notice of Membership: Chris Sekula, Painting Contractor.

Next week's meeting will be held at the Winter Party at The Legacy at Cranberry Landing (300 Cranberry Landing off Norton).  BJ Cunningham would like member to show up between 6:30-6:45pm.  Several members will meet at the Boulevard Grill (412 Empire) at 5pm for dinner.

Jim Kozlowski and Lynn Wozniak volunteered to serve on the Scholarship Committee headed by Lee Steinfeldt.  This process is getting started and Lee is collecting resume's from the high schools that this committee will review to pick scholarship winners.

Report from traveling Treasurer Kenn Van Dieren is that finances are in good shape with a healthy bank balance plenty enough to cover expenses planned for the fiscal year.

"Not Your Father's Rotary" membership meeting will be this coming Monday, Feb 25th at the Butler Residence at 7pm.  Please attend and bring a prospective member.

The club will participate in a new fundraiser by selling at the East Irondequoit School District Garage Sale on March 9th at East Irondequoit Middle School on Densmore Road.  Thanks to Lee Steinfeldt for making us aware of this opportunity.  Club members are asked to bring items they wish to donate to our March 6th meeting at Remington's.  Jim Kozlowski will collect the items and make arrangements for storage.  One or two other volunteers will be needed to man the booth(s) at the garage sale.  Booths are 10 x 12 feet and we may have more than one space if the gym and cafeteria don't fill up.  Setup is 8 to 10 a.m. and tear-down is 3 to 5 pm.   Any leftover items can be donated to the Eastridge International Club, which sells them to Savers in Webster to help fund their charity work in the Dominican Republic.

President Dave is looking for members to join him at Penfield Rotary's Beer and Tapas Dinner at Penfield Country Club on February 28th.  Cost is $45 per person.   Profits go to Camp Haccamo and Honor Flight.  See President Dave if interested in attending.

Angels of Mercy Pasta Dinner is April 7th.  See Jen Gugino for tickets.   Speaking of Jen, she has had successful knee surgery and is recovering nicely according to President Dave.
