Lots of discussion on our proposed upcoming meeting at CASA HOLLA in Sodus (that's about an hour drive for you, Les, in case you are still wondering...).  Date: Wednesday, Sept. 2nd. at 5:30pm til ?  Bring your own chair/beverages/bug spray.  Pre-made dinner followed by a quick meeting and a fire for those who want to linger in Ray's presence.  Spouses welcome!  Let Ray Holla know how many are attending.  He or President Tom will send out an email that will need an RSVP and your dinner choice.

Program Notes
Chief Alan Laird of Irondequoit Police Department (IPD) was introduced by Louis DiPrima who will be our club's contact with IPD.  Chief Laird moved to Irondequoit from Greece in his 20's and never left.  He just took over from our very own past member, Chief Rich Tantalo,  during the outbreak of Covid and social unrest due to racial tensions.  So he has been busy in a very unpredictable time.  Many of the annual events that our club participated in such as National Night Out, Shop With a Cop, and Bridge the Ridge have been cancelled so stay tuned to potential virtual events.  Chief has received much support from residents and appreciates our continuing support.  He would appreciate our help with replenishing their coloring book supplies which are used as give-aways at their events.  There are 53 IPD jobs currently with an open requirement for 5 more positions that are delayed due to pending training.  It was a pleasure to hear from Chief Laird on the status of IPD!
Contributions/Fines
Lots of donations for our speaker and upcoming meeting in Sodus.  Congrats to Lou and Fran DiPrima celebrating a wedding anniversary.   Dave Shaheen and Susan B. Todd had a nice time at Alexandria Bay and so did Les and Donna Kaszuba.  Thanks to Les for the Masks he procured.  Kudos to Lou & Fran for their work to pull the Steak Roast off next week.
