Meeting Notes
Guy Kittelsen shared the news of Betty Perkins-Carpenter passing.  The club is mourning the loss of a great friend and a remarkable woman who led an extraordinary life.  See the Democrat and Chronicle article on Betty's life by clicking HERE.  There will be a private service now and a public memorial service in August.  More details when available about the August service.  Betty requested that people honor her memory by thanking a veteran or an active service member. Donations also may be made to the Veterans Outreach Center, 447 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620 or veteransoutreachcenter.org.

The upcoming Installation Dinner will be Sunday, June 24th at the Jetty on the Port (1000 N. River St. Off Lake Avenue) starting at 5:30.  Dave Shaheen passed around a sign-up sheet.  Please see Dave to sign up and choose your dinner selection.

NO MEETING this coming Wednesday, June 6th as the Reverse Drawdown Dinner is the next day at St. Josepahat's Hall starting at 5:30.  8 tickets remain.  See Lou DiPrima for more tickets.

Club member annual dues for next Rotary year starting July 1 will be raised by $10 from $150 to $160 to cover a shortfall we have had for some time.  These fees cover all our club annual costs for Rotary International, the magazine, etc.

Program Notes
Jason Miller and Ray Holla tag teamed to cover the Camp Haccamo Program that Rocco Leone was supposed to handle but was missing in action.  The Car Show is this Saturday, June 2nd at the Greece Ridge Mall near Macy's.  It starts at 9am.   Haccamo Clean up a few weeks ago went very well.  Carnival Night is Thursday, Aug. 9th.  Adult Prom night is Aug. 16th.  Our club members usually attend both and we will be asked to volunteer to serve dinner during the Adult Weekend.  Our annual club meeting out at Haccamo will likely be Wednesday, August 15.  Haccamo Challenge at the camp will be at the end of the Adult weekend.  Friday, Nov 16th is the Josie Waverly Concert.  Each year the Camp withdraws about $100,000 from funds to support the camping season so we need more fundraising and donations to close this gap.  Our club made our annual $3000 donation to the Camp at the end of the program.
