Meeting Notes
The money donated for Pat Torre's memorial will be used to purchase books for the two kindergarten classes at Brookview.  The books are in and will be distributed shortly.

Dan Dwyer sent around a sign up for those wishing to volunteer at the Raise a Glass event May 2nd and 3rd.  Those interested, please see Dan.  The surplus wine from this event will be used at the Roc City Uncorked fundraiser for Camp Haccamo on June 6th.

President Bob Scheidt attended President's Night at Camp Haccamo last week.   He heard from Camp Haccamo camper parents who stress what a great reprieve it is for them to give up care-taking their children for one week during the summer.  So the camp is not only fun and educational for campers but also provides a relief for parents.

If interested, meet at Gigi's playhouse next Tuesday, February 11 at 5:30 to volunteer.  President Bob and B.J. Cunningham will be there.

Next week's meeting (Feb 12) is the annual Valentine's party at Legacy Cranberry Landing at 7pm.

Program Notes
Debbie Evans started Irondequoit Community Cupboard (ICC) over 25 years ago!  Every year, including the past year, demand has risen for ICC services which provide food and a variety of needs for families and individuals who live in the town of Irondequoit.  United Way is a large part of ICC's revenue but Debbie was especially grateful for our club's support since the very beginning.  There are 85-100 volunteers that help Debbie who is the ONLY staff member of ICC.  Summer months are the toughest as regular programs and donations slow down but people still need to eat.  ICC provided food for over 1400 households and over 5900 backpacks.  They provide snacks for the month for 8 elementary schools that participate in the weekend backpack program.  ICC provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meal baskets (our club's donation at Christmas makes this possible).  Besides food, school supplies and clothing are also provided during the year.  We are proud to support this great cause that significantly helps our local community and we thank Debbie for her continued efforts.
Contributions/Fines
Happy to have the better half of the Van Dieren family (Deb) here tonight as well as New Member (In Waiting) Jill Orologio.  Jennie Gugino and family are now sadly missing daughter Marisa for 9 years.  Dave Shaheen had a nice trip to San Juan and 5 islands.  Kim Miranda's two daughters are both closing on houses this week.  Congrats to Jason Miller who started work at Petrella Phillips as an auditor.
