Short Meeting tonight. Our planned speaker, Debbie Renna-Hynes, was under the weather so we will postpone her new member introduction to a later date. Look for a Club Survey from Prez Dan in the near future. Please fill it out to supply our Board with your thoughts on several items needing your input. Pasta Dinner: Keep selling pasta dinner tickets! We are well on our way but have lofty goals. Poster has been created. See Bob Scheidt if you have a way to provide high quality, full color, printed 11x17" copies. Durand Project: in lieu of a regular meeting tonight, several members travelled up to the Durand Project site to scope out the location and logistics for getting the material from the storage and "build" area down to the installation location. Tom Kosanke will soon send out more details about our plans to start on the work. Next week's meeting will be a work session at Durand Eastman Park 4-6:30pm, then a meal @ Bill Gray's with General Rappl Highway update by Assemblymember Sarah Clark. Dave Shaheen invited all to attend the Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce "Meet the Candidates Night" on Wednesday Oct. 11 at 5:30pm at Irondequoit Community Center. |
