Meeting Notes

Pasta Dinner:  See Bob Scheidt's email and get back to him on your service assignment for the Pasta Dinner.  Saturday we will prepare bags, prep salad, and prep pasta.  Sunday, plan on 10am social hour for Honorary members.  So far so good on ticket sales.  Keep up the good work!  This year there will be an incentive to sell tickets.  See the email from Dan Dwyer for more info on the raffle.  We will also offer a raffle for pasta dinner customers.

Halloween Events:  Lynn Wozniak and Ray Holla represented our club at two Halloween events this week:  Trunk or Treat at the the Community Center and at Christ the King Church with Boy Scout pack 233.

Trail Sign at Durand Lake:  Here is a photo of our trail head location and the type of signage we are proposing for the site.  This was proposed by County Parks.  The sign would be placed behind the large rocks, near the warning sign for lyme disease (ugh!).  Idea is to have a map to the location, logos for Rotary, Interact and Boy Scouts; a QR code to our website; and a brief write up.

Plan is to finalize a design over the winter and install in the Spring.

Marcia and Tom Kosanke walked the trail last week and it is in great shape.  Most platforms have settled nicely.  They adjusted a few platforms to be more level.

Guy Kittelsen will be recognized at this site as his family have graciously donated money for this project.

Finances:  Prez Brandon has been added to bank account.   Our CD was renewed at a good rate for 7 months.

Calendar:  Our planned social event will be moved to December 10 at Fifth Frame Social so we can make last minute Pasta Dinner plans on Oct. 29 meeting.  We will not meet on Thanksgiving Eve.  Shop with a Cop is Dec 6 and December 7th is Holiday Tree Lighting at Town Hall.
