Meeting Notes

Lighthouse Garden Cleanup:  Ray Holla and Dan Dwyer did about 40% of the job alone last weekend but had more help since with Tony Mormino and Lou DiPrima to finish it up and it looks fabulous!  Great Job!

Irondequoit Garden Walks:  This Sunday July 20th is the Irondequoit Garden Walks.  Click HERE for more details.  Stop by Dan Dwyer's house between 12-4 to say hello and have a beverage.

Membership:  A few prospects in the works.

Sunshine Committee:  Bob Spatola is the new chairperson.  The Board created a new policy and Bob will review and report back on any policy recommendations.

Veteran's Committee:  All funds for Durand Park Bench have been paid and awaiting install.

Finance Report:  All is well and in order.  Should be able to close books on last fiscal year soon.  DUES ARE DUE so please see Lynn Wozniak if you have not paid yet.  See your email from Lynn on how to pay.

Signature Project:   Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is being drafted with the town so there are no surprises.  We will be donating up to $50,000 for naming rights on band shell, an addition to the playground, and other items such as bike racks, benches, etc.

Signage needs:  still need to get signage for the trail we finished at Durand Lake (started by the Boy Scouts).  Also need signs for Lighthouse Garden.

Camp Haccamo Carnival Night:  Thursday July 31 is the date.  Dinner is $15 at the camp.  See Ray Holla if you can make it.  New members should definitely attend to see the camp in its finest!

Steak Bocce' Night:  August 27th.  Cost will be $30 per person.  Please RSVP to Lou DiPrima so he know how many steaks to order.
