Meeting Notes
Membership Update:  Dr. Aaron Johnson induction will be July 22nd meeting.   Hannah, our exchange student will also be attending to tell us about her experience in Japan.

Backpack Program:  Packing party is Saturday 10:30am July 25th at the Hemlock Shelter on Log Cabin Road at Durand Eastman (Rain or Shine). Bob & Judene will bring donuts, coffee and the backpacks.  All members are invited (kids/grand kids are invited to participate) to pack the 45 backpacks. With the Hemlock Shelter we have plenty of room to lay out the materials and observe social distancing.

"Belated" Installation Dinner is July 29th at Strathallan.   President Tom will confirm all details next week.

State of club finances is healthy.  Frugality over the interim will serve us well as many revenue sources are under review.  Good thing we had a strong year with Pasta Dinner last time so checkbook is in good shape.  President Tom presented a zero-sum budget for this year with general spending categories due to all the uncertainties.

When Immediate Past District Governor Dave Hannan visited us last year he awarded our club $100 for a Literacy Project.  When he heard the wonderful work we did with school book project, he awarded us another $400 that was revenue from the District Golf Tournament.  Kudos to B.J. Cunningham, Kenn Van Dieren, and Louis DiPrima who worked on the project.

Pasta Dinner Committee:  Scheidt/Spatola/Dwyer will meet soon and lay out options for the club to consider for the Pasta Dinner this year.
