Business Meeting chaired by Lynn Wozniak.
Old Business
Drawdown dinner was great success. Over 60 meals served. A long list of winners!
Change-over dinner - working with Artisan Works - shooting for price around $55/pp. Need to keep date of June 24th to have most members able to attend.
Lighthouse Cleanup - last week, nobody was able to attend. Will need to set up a date
Shire at Culverton garden boxes - Joey Pierleoni has visited with management and is making plans. Shire will also contribute $ for this project.
District grant - report sent in and it was confirmed that we will receive the matching $2000 from the District once all other club reports are in.
Bike racks have been delivered to the town. Once they have been installed, we will have an event to officially gift them to the town.
Trail Project - will delay in putting sign up until we have more discussion with town. Tom Kosanke went to see how our work fared over the winter. Some areas were moved and some others damaged from trees down. Discussion about how we maintain this especially if we put up a sign about Rotary's participation.
District Conference - President Elect Steve Schwock attended. Unfortunately, our club did not receive recognition due to the absence of the sitting president - they would not let Steve substitute in (sad!). Call for action - getting clubs to host exchange students. Student Exchange now requires that the host family has kids so this makes it harder to find host families.
Global Grant - Lynn Wozniak still working on getting info on how we participate.
RYLA - Our club will host one student from IHS.
Camp Haccamo Car Show - June 6th. See Ray Holla if you have a car. 70th Anniversary of Camp Haccamo: Plans are moving forward for hosting an anniversary event on September 19 and the Pittsford Fire Department Band has committed to playing for them as well! See Ray for more info.
Budget and Finance Report - The club’s financial report shows a positive balance, with revenue exceeding expenses and a surplus in the administrative budget. The budget for new member activities was not utilized this year, and the possibility of carrying it over to next year was discussed. Decision to not extend. Consensus was that this is an opportunity for new members but not a requirement and should be treated as such. There is need for a new budget for the upcoming year to be developed. Lynn and Steve will meet to do this. Additionally, Lynn has requested that someone shadow her to learn the ropes of being treasurer (hopefully really soon…) Our CD will rollover soon depending on the deal and the amount will likely be increased. Administrative budget is doing fine and most expenses paid for. Some excess at the moment. Some increases in tax prep fee. Fundraising budget - should come in on budget with all the puts and takes. Bob Scheidt is taking over Pasta Dinner money next year so that will relieve much work from Treasurer.
New Business
