Meeting Notes
After the meeting we learned that Andrea Sauer gave birth to a baby boy, Scottie Sauer on 12/16.   Congrats to the Sauer family!!

Business Meeting tonight.

Membership:  Have leads on two new members.  Lou DiPrima is on the recruitment trail.

Budget Review:  Lynn Wozniak reviewed line by line recent expenditures and YTD budget Revenue and Expenses.  All in good order.  Pasta Dinner is expected to meet or exceed net income goal!!  Great job by all.  A recurring issue is that Administrative expenses are more than Administrative revenue.  Several options will be explored including (1) increasing dues from current $175 to $200, (2) initiating a 50/50 raffle each week, (3) increasing meal price (4) increasing meeting attendance with "cash-back" incentives.  Discussion ensued about increasing website/bulletin sponsorship ad cost.  $100 is too low per many members' opinions.  We currently have 8 sponsors.  Average number of "clicks" that link to the sponsors' website was just over 600 for 2024 - a great value.  A committee headed up by Lou DiPrima will create a proposal for the club on sponsorships.

Dictionary Program:  Ray Holla reports that Christ the King and St. Ambrose books have been distributed.  The rest is being scheduled.

Shop with a Cop:  Event was very successful and rewarding for those who attended.  There was a good turnout of volunteers.  13 children were given the opportunity to shop for Christmas presents at Target.

Town Tree Lighting Event:  Brandon Barnhart reports that the event was a great success.  Out table was the most popular.  Ornaments were made by over 70 kids and we made many community connections.

Holiday Baskets:  Lynn Wozniak's granddaughter thought it was more fun than playing.  We all had a great time socializing and assembling 100 food baskets and 168 Personal Care packages for Irondequoit Community Cupboard.

Polar Plunge is Feb 2 and Winterfest at Town Hall is Feb 8th.  More info to come.

Long-Range Planning:  committee met with Andrae Evans who identified 9-10 potential projects that we can help out with donations and/or sweat equity.  The team has created a spreadsheet of questions to better define each opportunity and will meet again with Andrae to get answers.  Once complete, the team will share with the club to settle on a path forward.
