Business Meeting tonight. We will run Zoom ONLY meetings at 6:30 on Wednesdays for the foreseeable future. Next week's meeting is the night before Thanksgiving so we will have a Zoom call mostly for socializing...no agenda or speaker. We really enjoyed Tasteful Connections so we will plan on returning there once the virus is under control. Pasta Dinner Review: it is looking like we are doing well vs last year on a net profit basis which is extraordinary given the circumstances. We will definitely net more than budgeted so we have more $ for community programs and donations. Congrats to the top ten ticket sellers for a tremendous effort: Dominick Fantauzzo, Rich Tantalo, Lou DiPrima, Dan Dwyer, Bob Spatola, Jennie Gugino, John Mendick, Dave Shaheen, Louis DiPrima, & Norb Rappl. See Bob Scheidt's emails for more details. Budget Discussion: Due to higher than expected profits from Pasta Dinner, we will increase several budget items. President Tom led us in a line by line review of the puts and takes. After the meeting, he sent out a detailed email with the updated info. Please review that and get back to him with any questions/concerns. Dan Dwyer updated us on ROC City gala. It is cancelled but there will be an online auction during the first week in February. 150-200 items (mixtures of wine baskets, etc.) from the Raise A Glass event will be raffled with proceeds going to the participating Rotary Clubs. Holiday Baskets project will proceed but no party this year. A skeleton crew will assemble the baskets in a socially distanced manner. More details to follow. Let Terri Bastuk know if you are interested to volunteer. It's ROTARY FOUNDATION Month....see Kenn Van Dieren with $100 if you are interested in donation. Kenn will contribute Paul Harris points to donators. |
