Valentine's Day Party

Dear Rotary Members,

This Wednesday, February 12, we will meet at Legacy at Cranberry Landing at 6:30 PM for a special Valentine’s Day service project. Instead of our usual meeting, we’ll be spreading joy by passing out Valentine’s Day cards and carnations to residents, chatting with them, and brightening their day.

We have 63 Valentine’s Day cards (handmade by kids at Winter Fest) and 65 carnations to distribute. The residents will not be gathering in the large room as it may be too much for many of them to get there and back. Instead, we will visit them in their rooms and common spacesto hand out the flowers and cards individually. In addition to spreading Valentine’s Day cheer, we will also be raffling off the afghan blanketduring our visit.

Regarding a sing-along, we will not be doing a formal performance, but if any members would like to sing or bring along music to add to the atmosphere, that is more than welcome!

Let’s make this a meaningful and heartwarming experience for the residents. We appreciate your participation and look forward to seeing you there!
