Monthly Business meeting was held at Stoneyard Brewery on Empire Blvd. 

 

Pasta Dinner Update:  everything under control per Prince of Pasta Dom Fantauzzo.  Sales are on track with last year.

 

Dictionary Program Update (BJ Cunningham):  Half way done; will be at Durand School on Oct. 19th.

 

Website/Bulletin (J. Kozlowski):  We have moved our website to Clubrunner which is promoted by Rotary.  It also enables a bulletin and links to all Rotary material.  From the bulletin, clicking on any blue colored item will take you to more information on the website at www.irondequoitrotary.org.  Every member of our club is registered and can login at the top right corner of the website.  If you do not have login info, you can request it at the login page and they will send userid and temporary password.  Once on the website and logged in to the member area, members can update their profile, see a listing of all members contact info, look at upcoming events, programs, etc.  We also have the ability to sell advertising space on the new website so if anyone knows a business that would like to advertise with us, let Jim Kozlowski know. 

 

Josie Waverly Concert (Ray Holla):  We need raffle items for the concert.  See Ray to donate.  Please be generous and creative!

 

We'll be at Chapel Oaks for our meeting on Nov. 1st.  They will be our guest speaker and we will have a tour of the facility.  President Bob will have a sign up next meeting so we know how many will attend. 

 

 

Multiple contributions for: Jenny Gugino and Mary Jo's works with Angel of Mercy, Norb Rappl's picture in the paper, Polio, Kenn & Deb Van Dieren's Anniversary, BJ & Jim Cunningham's Anniversary, Doug & Marian Decker's Anniversary, the Dictionary Program, the Little Free Bookhouse program making the Sunday paper thanks to PR specialist Terri Bastuk, and Jerry Marzano for continued prayers for health issues.

 

Jenny Gugino for conference in Des Moines, Iowa with Angels of Mercy,  the Angels of Mercy 10th Anniversary Celebration on Dec. 3rd at Mercy High School; Les Kaszuba for being allowed to be a member of such a great club; Lynn Wozniak for granddaughter's 5th birthday and husband finding Jerry Marzano's barber shop; Kenn Van Dieren for 49th anniversary, anniversary joining Rotary, Senior Center event and foundation; Dom Fantauzzo for his 50th year in Irondequoit Rotary this month!; Norb Rappl for wonderful day at Aquinas Institute yesterday celebrating the life of hero Maj. Don Holleder, for ability to serve communion after 4 months, and birthday; Guy Kittelsen for upcoming programs by our club military veterans on their experiences; Terri Bastuk for being interviewed by French newspaper Le Monde, and going on a Thelma and Louise weekend with Laurie Snyder to Richmond, VA (stay away from cliffs!); BJ Cunningham for Alzheimer's Walk exceeding goal and wedding/club anniversaries; Ray Holla for soon being in FLA; Dick Butler for getting a haircut and updating us on Jerry Marzano's health situation.
